Q: Medicine has come a long way: emergency medicine, sophisticated diagnostic systems, organ transplants, and surgical repair. Medical solutions are developing in leaps and bounds. Tell us, Rolf, what is ONDAMED's role in this medical advancement?
A: ONDAMED is a wonderful adjunct to the already accepted medical mainstream technology. Energy medicine is a needed piece of the health solution equation; whether in way of acupuncture or by using an electromagnetic device.' Not just any device, a device applying electromagnetic waves with a low to the body adapted intensity. By using an adapted intensity, we do not reset the physical func¬tions but rather help the body stimulate a healing response.
Q: You talk about low intensity - let's take a look at transcranial stimulation or at MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) technology: How do these medical technologies widely accepted in the medical field compare to the frequency intensity of the ONDAMED?
A: Transcranial stimulation, used primarily in Psychiatry, has an output of approximately 2,000 milli Tesla and MRI equipment also has a high intensity based on the larger applicator area. ONDAMED operates at a range of .5 - 50 milliTesla. The intensity describes the strength of a wave emitted from the equipment or applicator. Of course, transcranial stimulation and MRI applications have different purposes. If we take transcranial stimulation which is mostly applied to the patient's head area, the patient experiences a major shock to the system, which I call "forcefully pushing the reset button". The intense force of the electro-magnetic field might present a certain health risk to the patient.
Q: ONDAMED's intensity output appears to be very low in comparison to the other two modalities.
A: ONDAMED is quite different; a MUCH gender approach. We work with intensities tailored to the body, which are not felt by the patient. My concept includes applying frequencies or frequency combina¬tions (programs) that are in resonance or in harmony with a patient by means of the pulse feedback test. As we have learned from homeopathy: less is more.
